The Pinal County Board of Supervisors convened at 9:40 a.m. this date in the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, Administration Building No. 1, Florence, Arizona. The meeting was called to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and Roll Call. Present: Chairman Lionel D. Ruiz; Supervisor Sandie Smith; Supervisor Jimmie B. PZ-PD-016-03: Motion was made by Supervisor Kerr and seconded by Supervisor Smith to approve PZ-PD-016-03 with the twenty (20) stipulations as recommended. Motion carried by unanimous vote. County Manager's Report 'Information Only'. There was no County Manager's report. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Application for Special Event License for Arizona City Chamber of Commerce, at 12922 S. Kasmir, Arizona City, AZ., on October 16, 2003. Motion was made by Chairman Ruiz and seconded by Supervisor Kerr to approve the application for Special Event License for Arizona City Chamber of Commerce, at 12922 S. Kasmir, Arizona City, AZ., on October 16, 2003. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Call to Public, There was no one present who wished to address the Board. The Board recessed for lunch at 10:20 a.m. The Board reconvened at 2:14 p.m. Present: Chairman Lionel D. Ruiz; Supervisor Sandie Smith; Supervisor Jimmie B. Kerr; County Manager/Clerk of the Board, Stanley D. Griffis, Ph.D.; Chief Civil Deputy County Attorney, William McLean; Deputy Clerk of the Board, Sheri Cluff. Meeting of the Pinal County Flood Control District. 2:15 p.m. - Motion was made by Supervisor Smith and seconded by Supervisor Kerr to recess for meeting of the Pinal County Flood Control District Board of Directors. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 2:21 p.m. - Motion was made by Director Kerr and seconded by Director Smith to adjourn from meeting of the Pinal County Flood Control District Board of Directors and reconvene into regular session of the Board of Supervisors. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Call to Public. There was no one present who wished to address the Board. There being no further business the meeting stood adjourned at 2:21 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors will be on Wednesday, September 24, 2003, 9:30 a.m.
